This policy explains what data is processed when you play Pasta Drop (the mobile game for iPhone and Android) and when you visit this website. It is published by [PUBLISHER NAME], [POSTAL ADDRESS] (“we”, “us”).
The short version
- The game has no account and no login. We don’t collect your name, email or any personal data through the game.
- Your progress, stars and coins are saved on your device only.
- Purchases are handled by Apple or Google. We never see your payment details.
- Ads are rewarded videos you choose to watch, served by Google AdMob, with a consent form where the law requires it.
- If you use the contact form, we use your name and email only to reply to you.
1. The Pasta Drop game
1.1 Data stored on your device
The game saves the following locally on your device. It is never sent to us:
- level progress, best stars and best score per level;
- coin balance and action-bonus charges;
- the sound setting;
- the number of rewarded ads watched today (to apply the daily limit);
- the date of the last store rating prompt.
Deleting the app deletes this data. Because it only lives on your device, it does not move to a new phone and cannot be restored after a reinstall.
1.2 In-app purchases
Coin packs are bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play, using their own payment sheets. Payment details are handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies and never reach the game.
Purchases are processed with RevenueCat, which uses a random, anonymous identifier generated for each installation of the game, plus purchase details sent by the store (product, date, transaction identifier). RevenueCat does not receive your name or email from us. See the RevenueCat privacy policy.
1.3 Rewarded ads
Pasta Drop only shows rewarded video ads, when you tap the “ADS +5” button. There are no banners and no ads that interrupt the game.
Ads are served by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud, Google may process information such as your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, device model and app interactions. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google privacy policy.
- Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland): on first launch, Google’s consent form (User Messaging Platform) asks for your choice where the law requires it. If you don’t consent, or if the form can’t load, only non-personalised ads are offered.
- iPhone: the advertising identifier is only used if you allow tracking through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
1.4 Store rating prompt
After you have beaten level 5, the game may ask you to rate it, at most once every two days. The rating window is provided by Apple or Google, and your rating goes directly to them.
2. This website
2.1 Contact form
When you send a message, we receive your name, email address, subject and message. We use them only to answer your request (for example to add missing coins after a purchase). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us.
The message is delivered to us by email through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), our email provider, under a data processing agreement. See the Brevo privacy policy.
We keep these messages for as long as needed to handle your request, and at most 3 years after our last exchange.
2.2 Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA)
The contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v2 to block spam. reCAPTCHA is only loaded on the contact page. It collects hardware and software information (such as device and browser data) and sends it to Google for analysis. The Google privacy policy and terms of service apply.
2.3 Hosting
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect the site against attacks. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
2.4 Cookies
This website uses no analytics and no advertising cookies. Google reCAPTCHA may set cookies needed for spam protection, only on the contact page.
3. International transfers
Google, RevenueCat and Cloudflare may process data outside the European Union. These transfers rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
4. Children
Pasta Drop is suitable for everyone but is not specifically directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data through the contact form, contact us and we will delete it.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws, you can ask to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, object to or restrict its processing, and ask for a copy of it. To exercise these rights, contact us.
Most game data never leaves your device, so you can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app. You can also change your ad choices through your device settings (advertising ID, App Tracking Transparency).
If you think your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the game or the website changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
